MEMENTO

Memory loss is often one of the first signs of dementia. Initially, memory lapses may be mistaken for the normal forgetfulness that often increases as people grow older or when they become much stressed. However, in those who are affected by dementia, it will gradually become evident that the memory problems are becoming more severe and persistent. They will also be accompanied by changes in thinking and behavior that make it more difficult to cope with everyday life.

In May 2017 the new European project MEMENTO started. The aim of this collaboration project is to provide a solution which is addressing the different memory loss. The developed solution will help to remember daily events, to keep new information made, help to recognize people, situations and places as well as to help separating fact from fiction. MEMENTO will provide a technical solution which will be designed, developed and tested with a strong user involvement starting with the beginning of the project.
