Social Craft

Design in the context of social business

Although we already live in the postindustrial age, product design explores this paradigm shift, reorienting values and examining beliefs, goals and methods. The name postproduct is therefore to be understood programmatically and would like to contribute dissertation contributions to current questions in the design. The design collective postproduct accompanied students of New Design University during their co-operation with magdas design, a social business of Caritas Austria. The publication Social Craft discusses what co-creation, success, material, tools and design for the design partners mean in this context, and what learning potential, social craft can offer as a business with added value.
